BURLINGTON, ON  November 29, 2012  They get into their cars and choose a part of town and then methodically go from car to car looking for those that might be open

Sometimes they might “jimmy” the door.  They are quick – they grab anything they see and are gone in a flash.

Are they organized to the point where they have lookouts posted to warn of approaching police cars.  Do they communicate with each other by cell phone?

Stolen from car in the Orchard community. Game tickets stolen as well – what’s the dummy going to do with the things?

The is a tough crime to handle – the solution is to make sure you lock your car.  These thieves are bone lazy and if it isn’t handed to them on a silver platter – they walk away looking for something easy as well as something that doesn’t require much in the way of brains.

Getting up and going to work; or doing their homework to ensure that they graduate isn’t their life style.  They would rather steal from you.  Don’t make it easy for them.
