The Gazette commenting feature is now operational - the hack has been fixed and there is a thicker fire wall in place.

For all of those people who have had to go without the opportunity to comment on items in the Burlington Gazette – your suffering has come to an end.

The techies who baby sit our site have solved the problem (we aren’t quite sure how they did it – but it is holding) and there is now a thick fire wall in place.

That should keep the miscreants out of our site for a period of time.

We have no idea who did the dirty deed nor do we know how they got in but they did – and we are $500 poorer than we expected.

But we are still here.
