The potential for a boisterous meeting is certainly there: the Maria issue, development at Eagle Heights and concerns from Aldershot resident about how unavailable they feel Galbraith has been.

It will be interesting to see how he handles him.

Sleepy Galbraith emerges…just in time to campaign. 2 motions in four years on Council, with one of them to complain transparancy in democracy is wasting his time. I can understand, since Councillor is his second job. I am sure, this summer, he wont be campainging from his cottage, as he was frequently tuning in to Council meetings before the pandemic. I didnt fully realize the job of Burlington and Halton Regional Councillor was a part-time job. $100k+ salary plus full benefits and pension vested after one term. Nice deal for a part-timer.

Well your 2 motions in 4 years is bogus. He made 3 motion at one meeting on June 10 2019 alone. One in March 2019 and one in September 2019.

I’m not going to go count all the motions he made but it is more than 2.
I’ve got issues with the Councillor, but I don’t just make up facts to criticize him.

I delegated to Council/committee at least 5 times in 2019 and he was present for all of them.

I attended the meeting last night and he was well prepared and had a good command of the issues. I don’t agree with his take on LaSalle Park, but he obviously does his homework.

Oh, how do you solve a problem like Maria?
How do you catch a cloud and pin it down?

I’ve got a meeting with him tomorrow about Maria so I kept my questions to other items.
