The Chair and Vice Chair of the Halton District School Board were both returned to office by acclamation at the xxx meeting of the Board of Trustees.

Halton District School Board trustees earn a total annual honorarium of approximately $16,601.57 for a member, $20,783.24 for a vice-chair, and $24,964.92 for the chair, as of November 15, 2024.

Trustees are elected to serve parents, students, taxpayers and the public school system.  They are the link between the communities they represent and the Halton District School Board.

During their term in office, trustees are entitled to be reimbursed for expenses incurred while carrying out their responsibilities.  Trustees require a computer, software, Internet access and other equipment that allows them to consult with and contact their constituents.  Other acceptable expenses may be for transportation, professional development and conferences, office supplies, constituent meeting expenses etc.​
According to Board policy,  a trustee expenses report is posted on this website by December 31 following the end of the fiscal year.
