BURLINGTON, ON

Two days in a row with crowds said to be over 4,000 people.

Emily Brown, Conservative candidate for Burlington

4500 in Hamilton and 4000 in Stoney Creek.

Pay attention – those crowds are real.  People are telling us that ”many of them were probably bussed in”  – is that supposed to make a difference?

Poilievre is said to have spoken for more than an hour in Stoney Creek.  Burlington Conservative candidate Emily Brown was in the crowd; and just loving the size of the audience.

Carney was in Windsor on Wednesday – no word yet on what he was drawing in the way of an audience.

Keep in mind during the trucker gathering in Ottawa which Poilievre supported (goof), one of the mainstays was a guy with a trucking company from the interior between Pelham and Caledonia. I am sure he helped organize the gathering with the conservative party machine.

Going to be diificult to decide which of these “grifters” deserves any support from Canadians but surely, any prudent person would find that Carney’s history would make you “skeptical” at best.
Everyone makes errors in judgement and perhaps finds themseleves is situations that are not becoming, but Carney made no secret of his associations, investment decisions, and lack of respect for Canada.

    1. He plagiarized parts of his 1995 economics thesis submitted to Oxford University.

that’s just plain “dumb” …. or he’s so arragant he thinks he wouldn’t be found out.

    2. Images from 2013 have emerged showing Carney with Ghislaine Maxwell, a convicted sex trafficker and associate of Jeffrey Epstein.
    He says they “weren’t friends”.
what a character insight that is !!

that’s just plain “dumb” …. or he’s so arragant he thinks he wouldn’t be found out.

    3. Carney had to retract an earlier claim that the $600 billion portfolio of Brookfield Asset Management, where he served as vice chairman, was carbon neutral because generally accepted accounting practises were manipulated to hide investments in fossil fuels.
he’s a self proclaimed accounting professional with an obligation to abide by sworn governance but he didn’t.

that’s just plain “dumb” …. or he’s so arragant he thinks he wouldn’t be found out.

    4. During his tenure as Governor of the Bank of England from 2013 to 2020, he received a housing allowance of $462,791.00 per year, in addition to his $888,560.00 salary and $266,570.00 pension allowance. The total cost of Carney’s relocation to the UK amounted to $190,330.00.
He says this was “good value”.
He refuses to provide details of his net worth or investments.

that’s just plain “dumb” …. or he’s so arragant he thinks he wouldn’t be found out.

these poor decisions and the lack of transparency should give everyone “pause” as he seeks public trust and political support.

  • I was there

Not bussed in to see Pierre, we were parked on either side of two kilometers of South service road, one on either side of the venue.

Probably bussed in? Those venues were maxed out, there were more outside trying to get in, I’ll take photos next time.

What type of job history did Justin Trudeau have? A part-time drama teacher and bouncer yet Canadians voted him in as Prime Minister purely because his last name was Trudeau. Where did that get Canadians?

Mark Carney has never held a political office and has become the Prime Minister “in waiting” without ever having a seat in parliament.

For those willing to do some reading they might discover that Mark Carney is not the economic guru that people think. The UK is still dealing with some of the policies he put in place.

We talk about the flip-flopping of Donald Trump with regard to tariffs.

Now Mark Carney who said he would not speak to Donald Trump at this time is running with his tail between his legs asking for time with him because of the 25% tariffs to be imposed on imported autos.

Did he not see these tariffs coming after all he is an economist and supposedly knows how to deal with Trump?

I would rather have a Prime Minister who knows how the political system works than someone who has absolutely no real insight on what Canadians need and more importantly what our government can afford.

All the promises being made. Where will this money come from?

Never fails to amuse me that people think that many of the election campaign promises will actually come to fruition.

It just proves to me that were more like Americans than I thought
This man is Trump light all slogan no substance
This man has been a career politician has never held a job in the private sector
Won’t get a security clearance and still wants to be prime minister
God help us if he does
