BURLINGTON, ON
UPDATE: The Performing Arts Board of Directors just announced that Sara Palmieri is the new Executive Director.
Tammy Fox, former Executive Director of the Burlington Performing Arts Centre has a new gig.
HHoTface, an organization with a mission to inspire people of all ages, ethnicities, genders and orientations to celebrate their individual beauty and to look and feel their very best by offering professional-quality, cruelty-free skincare and cosmetics from around the globe, made for all skin tones and types.
Fox left Performing Arts on very very short notice in May of last year. The Performing Arts Board has yet to to announce a new Executive Director.
Fox had excellent contacts within the performing arts community, had served as the agent for many of the very talented people that take to the stage; when there was a problem she knew who to call.
The public has yet to learn what brought about the exit stage left for Fox at BPAC.

My guess is the governance review….maybe now they’ll release the details they’ve been trying to make everyone forget about for the last year…maybe ask a few past employees…
Unfortunately almost all former staff are locked to secrecy by NDAs as a condition of their dismissals forced or “forced to peruse other opportunities” The best course of action is to try and get the governance unlocked.
Yes Exactly. This is why it’s so important to have those details released. That investigation was long overdue for many reasons.
Well she sure got the short end of someone’s stick.
Not everything/everyone is at it seems. This governance report must be very telling if they’re trying to stop it’s release and hush it. If the City of Burlington is held to accountability on their transparency why isn’t this publicly funded organization? They fall under the City umbrella and we provide 1million+ in funding each year to them. Actually $1,102,006 in operating grants and $63,200 in capital contributions in 2024. As tax paying citizens we have a right to know what the findings are. Ask the right people, I’m sure there were some good reasons there was a LOT of turnover there for positions.
