Kearns at the Seniors’ Centre: Councillor did her part – citizens just didn’t show up

Ward 2 Councillor Lisa Kearns held a “pop-up” meeting at the Seniors’ Centre last night.

Attendance was disappointing.

Ha! Sorry but our public transit system won’t get me there!

For many residents the budget is not something they can really understand. They also realize that they have very little input in making any changes.

I applaud Councillor Kearns for engaging with the public. This is all she can do.

You say it was a “pop-up” meeting? How much advance notice was given. A pop-up event is often one at short or no notice

    Editors note: Several days.
