    I agree with Michael.

Not sending The Burlington Teen Band to perform in Myrtle Beach hurts only the band members who have practiced for this event. It serves no purpose.

How many Canadians will be watching the Super Bowl today, and perhaps drinking the Kentucky Bourbon they rushed to buy before the LCBO was to take this product off the shelves????

This is a pity, and what does it teach the band members who are “Canada’s Music Ambassadors”. Rather than reaching out in a difficult situation, turning a difficult situation into an opportunity as an ambassador would do, it teaches to be resentful and retaliatorily.

Weather you like the POTUS or not, his message is clear, Canada, you have a major drug problem, a major money laundering problem and you allow terrorists into your country without sufficient vetting all of which are serious threats. And, if you don’t fix these problems I’m going to impose a significant tariff on you in order to protect my people.

This sounds like a leader who wants the problem fixed, is serious, and will protect his citizens. I get the “bluster”, and the “noise”, but this is actually the “signal”.

    Good on them.

I’m happy of that decision. Unfortunate for the band members as it is a fun time.
