BURLINGTON, ON
There are a number of political polls being published – they don’t all agreee.
The Signal, published by the Toronto Star offers the following:
How does that impact the two Burlington seats?
Here is the Star’s take on Burlington, where Karina Gould is being challenged by Emily Brown and where Allan van Koeverden in Burlington North – Milton West is up against Conservative Nadeen Akbar and People’s Party Charles Zach.
The English language debate takes place on Thursday – at this point it looks like this election is Mark Carney’s to lose.
It is described by most people who think about politics as the important in decades.

When signs are being stolen on both sides, Liberal and Conservative…counting signs is a waste of time….
How about the silent decided voters determined to vote out the Liberal Party? How do you count them?
Somebody should tell Adam’s campaign. someone stole the three Nadeem signs on my street.
Just finished running an errand to Miton, Appleby line and Bronte St. not a lot of signs up there either, Nadeem Akbar Conservative seems to have the most.
I’ve been focusing on sign counting in the area south of the QEW and east of Brant Street, above New Street, as it seemed to be a Liberal stronghold in the last federal election. However, aside from a sea of red along Caroline, there still appears to be a significant lack of campaign signs. After traveling over 10 kilometers, I counted 26 red signs and 13 blue ones.
I also did a quick survey on the west side of Brant for 8 blocks, where I found 3 red signs and 16 blue ones. It seems that the majority of people on both sides, other than on Caroline, are keeping their political preferences close to the vest.
The polls are baloney. Change my mind.
