This is not something we see very often.

An arrest report that includes a large amount of different drugs and some very menacing weapons but the person arrested is not identified other than to say he is out on bail

The police report said: The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) 3 District Street Crime Unit has completed a drug investigation in Burlington with one arrest and multiple charges.

This would appear to be an active investigation – more to come perhaps. Those weapons are menacing.

Suggestion #1.Maybe it’s time to take those brass knuckles and use them on the heads of both the users and the sellers of these drugs. When a willing drug purchaser observes the weaponry these drug dealers have to carry to provide them with drugs. I would assume these weapons will be used on someone. That alone should prevent anyone with conscience from buying or using drugs. For those that don’t care about the millions worldwide that have been hurt or killed to provide them with the drugs. May I suggest we return to suggestion #1.

The police arrest. Who authorizes the undertaking?

They would not get any info without a name or address. What is the point.

Ironic to see the boilerplate request for the public to provide any relevant information about this when there is no “this” except a list of items siezed.

The accused was released on an Undertaking. What is an undertaking? And did the Crown recommend the release or object?

Editor’s note: An Undertaking is an agreement to appear in Court whenever required.

Whatever happened to protection of the public? That doesn’t look like Justice to me. Those drugs can be deadly.
It must be very demotivating to be a cop and see what happens after they do all the hard work of taking someone like this off the streets.
