Fail to Comply with Release Order, surprise, surprise!
“In accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act, police cannot identify the accused.”
I have often wondered if we are doing the youth who offend any benefit by being so lenient in sentencing them. Don’t get me wrong I don’t want them in jail, etc. but perhaps a little more than some community service is needed.
Counselling in addition to giving back to the community.
Unfortunately, there are some gangs etc. that recruit young teens to do criminal acts for them because until you are over 18 years of age presently there is no incentive for these youths not to do this.
