New this year on Canada Day – Brant Street will be closed for pedestrian use only.
Weather permitting, the Burlington Downtown Business Association will be animating Brant Street from noon to 3 p.m.
Activities range from musical and dance performances to a craft tent, various giveaways, a game station, pedal bikes and lots more.

I’ve heard that the new Príme Steak and Raw Bar will be offering shucked oysters as part of the Brant Street activities.
From a reader: My wife & I spent many happy evenings at the old Prime restaurant, when it was half price appys and drinks from 4 to 6pm every day, but haven’t tried the new one yet.
Much more expensive so will definitely not be going on a regular basis, but will give it a shot once it shakes out.
