Burlington’s festivals and events help bring people together, celebrate culture, create community pride, and contribute to a vibrant city.

The Lakeshore Music & Arts Festival takes over Spencer Smith Park.
Burlington is developing a Festival & Event Strategy to help guide the future of festivals and events across Burlington and will help inform future investment, event programming, community partnerships, event locations and the overall festival and event experience for residents and visitors.
The city is gathering feedback throughout the 2026 festival and event season to better understand what residents value, identify opportunities for improvement, and explore ideas for future festivals and events.

RibFest – an annual event that now charges an entrance fee.

Festival of Lights that’s now run by the Lions Club.
Feedback will help shape Burlington’s future Festival & Event Strategy and guide decisions related to programming, investment, community experiences, and the future growth of festivals and events across our city.
