USA travel dropping steadily

Canadians’ air travel to the USA didn’t just drop to a lower level with the election of Donald Trump and his declaration of economic war on Canada. It continues to decline most months as Trump’s threat rises and the USA’s internal situation grows more chaotic and unsafe.

The largest drop yet came in November, according to passenger screening data from Statistics Canada released last week. November Passengers screened at Canada’s eight largest airports for travel to the USA were down 13.5 per cent from November 2024.

At Canada’s eight largest airports, comparing November 2025 to November 2024, there were

  • 159,577 (13.5%) fewer passengers screened for travel to the USA
  • 119,363 (9.6%) more screened for travel to the rest of the world
  • 42,720 (2.2%) more screened for domestic travel.

Overall, Canadians travelled more in November 2025 than November 2024. But many are breaking old travel habits and choosing somewhere other than the USA.

Mexico’s Ministry of Tourism reported an increase of nearly 200,000 Canadian visits from January to September 2025 compared to the same period a year earlier, an 11.8 per cent increase.

Outside of the COVID travel restriction period, the USA share of Canadians’ foreign travel hasn’t been lower since at least 2019. November travel to the USA ranged from 49 to 51 per cent after COVID and until Trump. In November, 2025 it was 43 per cent of all foreign travel.

As far as I can see Michael, your serious blindness, and lack of insight about the deadly, overwhelmingly extraordinary danger of Trump, remains, no matter your usual opportunistic cherry-picking and shallow thinking points used to fabricate your point.

I have no idea how you would take any thinking that sides with a favourable propping up with Trump. What is wrong with you?

I think that it is you that are the duped one, by your die-hard conservatism polity, and inability to resist any commentary that comes to mind to make any point, even when it is a knee jerk, not thought out, pitch. You just have to say it, to try to show how smart you are, so everyone you are aiming at, just has to agree, despite what they all see as an obvious thing to do when faced with a crazy man trying to skin us..

Help me square the hypocrisy on this circle.

Some Canadians boycott travel to the US because they don’t agree with the policies of one man, voted in democratically, the travel boycott in part fueled by incorrect information from the main stream media. A democratic country that shares our same values, speaks the same language. And these Canadians love to virtue signal about it.

At the same time travel by Canadians is up to Cuba, a Communist regime, a dictatorship, people live in near poverty and a government that supports drug traffickers and provides military support to narco-terroists.

Canadian travel is up in Mexico, a country controlled by Cartels responsible for human trafficking, narcotics, money laundering, importation of illegal fire arms. Travelling to Mexico, you are given part of your money to the cartels, plain and simple.

Canadian travel is up to China, another communist dictatorship, the CPC held two Canadians hostage for over 1019 days! Remember! They have a trade war against out canola farmers. Plus a whole host of crimes against humanity.

Meanwhile, our past Prime Minister, that so many of those same Canadians adored, shows up at a playoff game carrying the purse of his new girlfriend and sporting a LAD cap. This same PM, once adored by these same Canadians, who told Canadians to boycott travel to the US now spends most of his time in the US.

Do you feel you are being duped yet with your virtue signals?
