Rick Goldring, Goldring Financial Leadership Inc.

Nice to see a woman as the second vice chair and nice to see Rick Goldring getting involved.

What would also be nice is a shift away from the drive to increase the membership and more time spent on services to the membership.

The numbers are important but if all you have is a lot of new members that are being poorly served what’s the point?

As a former Chamber and Board member the composition of this new Board isn’t inspiring.

Where are the manufacturers? Where are the retailers? Where are the food distributors, lawn care companies, cleaners, wholesalers, janitorial services, HVAC providers, etc.? I guess the occupational and industry sector components didn’t factor into the DEI index.

When you like at who is not represented it provides a clue as to why the Chamber is utterly irrelevant, and is likely destined to remain so.
