Councillor Nisan calls the Council meeting to Order and leaves the room - he had other business to take care of

BURLINGTON, ON

Councillor Nisan – missing in action – again

City Council got off to a different start at their first meeting of 2025.

The Standing Committee was chaired by Councillor Rory Nisan – who, as is often the case – was not in the Council Chamber.

He passed the gavel to Councillor Galbraith and left the meeting.  No mention as to where he was going and what it was that kept him away from city hall.

This pattern of absence does not look good on my Councillor. We need all Councillors showing up as the decision-making by this spendthrift group is being closely watched by more and more citizens.

I want you there at the table to actually represent my interests and the interests of my neighbours in Ward 3 who want wiser decisions in the future when it comes to spending our tax dollars.

Where is ward 3 in Burlington?

Editor’s note: Go to the city web site the boundaries are clearly shown there.
