BURLINGTON, ON

Another one of those picture being worth 1000 words story.

City Council met in the Council Chamber today for the first time in two years.

Every member of Council – except Councillor Nisan, was there along with the City Manager and the City Clerk

Some city staff were also in the Chamber.

Point of clarification, if Councillor Nisan participated from home, he in fact took part in the hybrid session of Council.

Time to get back to the office Rory!

  • Still no in council delegations! Why not? Public is allowed in city hall but still do not have access to their council lectern. Council have choice in council or stay home, we who fund the show don’t have any such choice. Remember this folks when those who support keeping the bill payers out want you to vote them back in.

Great to see most of the members of council back in their working environment. Having watched the meeting this morning, it appeared they were pleased to be back.
