Monday, January 6th was the first day of skiing for “Senior Weekday Pass” holders at Glen Eden.
For an early bird price of $139., you can ski from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm., throughout the season.
If you missed the early bird date you can still buy a senior weekday pass, valid until the end of the season, for $201.
It has been about 10 months since my last ski. About halfway down the hill, on my first run, the existential question “Why am I here?” popped into my mind. By the third run, the endorphins had kicked in and I started having fun.
One question remains, will I be too stiff to walk tomorrow?
I met another senior just after his first run. He had texted his family a picture, from the top of the hill, with the caption WTF. I think that means Way Too Far.
The sun was out and there was lots of snow.
Glen Eden was the perfect place for me to spend a winter day.
Great weather and little in the way of traffic on the slope at Glen Eden.
Good to hear you’re enjoying the great outdoors and getting some skiing in, Eric. Your deserve a break after all the efforts you and BRAG put in on explaining the real Burlington tax increase for 2025 to citizens when our City Council did everything it could to obscure it.
