“Media reports have 57% of Tory voters want Poilievre to lead.” Is this the paid Liberal media that has been on a non-stop anti-Poilievre attack campaign since Carney was anointed early last spring? The same media that helped the Liberals win in 2019 with an anti-Scheer campaign and in 2021 with an anti-O’Toole campaign??? And it would be the same media that would assist the Liberals to campaign against whoever the Conservatives elected to lead them. The Liberals must be very afraid of Poilievre–logically, if Poilievre is so intensely disliked (I personally don’t believe it) why campaign against him? Wouldn’t it be smart to just let him remain as Conservative leader?
The Liberals strategy to undermine the Conservative while deflecting attention away from the numerous warts of corruption and incompetence on Team Liberal is based on the McKenna Doctrine: “If you repeat it often enough, if you say it loud enough, if that’s your talking point, then people will totally believe it”.
Can election Canada be trusted to run fair an unbyest election?
We need a third unbyest party to watch from campaigning to vote counting.
