Hell No. I will do everything in my power to make sure she is not reelected
I’ll shout from the rooftops if need be
    Taxpayers have had enough
Guess the Regional chair’s job fell through for her so bad haircut lady wants a third term

    NOOOOO

Let’s not re-elect a mayor that has increased our property taxes in excess of 40% during her term and with a lot more to come! MWW has lost her way and apparently has lost touch with the vast majority of Burlington residents. Let’s not forget the swimming pool allocation fiasco, which she side stepped. We then also have the charade she put the Millcroft community thru. No true leadership shown on those fronts. As well as the terrible way she managed the Shawna Stolte incident, but condones a similar occurrence by Angelo Bentivegna. She definitely does not have my support!

I find this shocking!! No track record of success, completely abandoned the residents in Milcroft and has cost the city millions of dollars in future flood damage and destruction of our greenspace. She promised to be better and has failed. Must be a very poor job market when you are willing to embarrass yourself by highlighting a failed tenure while seeking a new mandate!!! Yikes

We can only hope that enough Burlington voters are aware of what MMW has done the last 8 years as Mayor. She loves the strong mayor powers and I don’t believe she will ever give those up. She has travelled abroad to The Netherlands and Japan on Burlington taxpayers dollar. Taxes have risen significantly. Developers eat out of her pocket. She has no issue blocking constituents if she doesn’t like your comment.
The Red Queen has to go!!
    Burlington can do better.

I hope that Burlington residents will take the time to look at the platforms of all the candidates running for Mayor as well as for those who are running for councillors in their wards.

One of the major issues that residents need to question is the “Strong Mayor Powers. This allows our present mayor to hire and fire the CEO or City Manager without going to council for any input. It also allows for our current mayor to create a budget, once again with no council input. This is not truly democratic.

The present council has asked our current mayor to allow them input in the hiring and firing of the CEO. This was denied.

Both Councillor Kearns and Councillor Rory Nisan have indicated that they will not use the Strong Mayor Powers. This would be a win for the residents of Burlington.

Name recognition is not a good reason to vote for someone.

An educated voter makes the right decision.

    Make your vote count.
