Poll tabulation problems seem to have been resolved. No changes in the actual standings from earlier reports

BURLINGTON, ON

The city communications people report that:

The City’s voting vendor is experiencing technical difficulties which is causing a delay in reporting the unofficial results online. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Suzanne Vukosavljevic, Manager of Communications, City of Burlington

The problem we have with that statement is that Oakville uses the same vendor and they have processed all the polls.

There was an additional run at 10:05 pm  The numbers are higher but the percentages are basically the same.

We will stick around until all the polls have been processed.

Ms Hersh, Were the machines from Dominion Voting ? Stolen election !

I hear Hamilton had the same computer issues.

    Nevertheless the results are in!

MMW took 80% of the vote. Not a loss of plurality as predicted by some.

Kearns re-elected with a wider margin also. Demoe only about 250 votes.

All councilors re-elected, despite some very very negative targeted opinion pieces in some media outlets.

Perhaps all the knockers, who are so obviously out of step with the voters can now give it a rest.

Is there anyone guiding the ship at Burlington City Hall or does chaos prevail?

  • Penny Hersh

Is it true that the City is bringing in all the Polling Machines into City Hall and this accounts for the late election results.?
