What’s happening in Ottawa?
iPolitics reports that:

Prime Minister Mark Carney: ” …if Parliament needs to sit longer, it should sit longer in order to get it passed. That’s what Canadians expect.”
With just two weeks left on the parliamentary clock, Prime Minister Mark Carney may be setting the stage for a high-stakes cross-aisle showdown as he and his Liberal minority team scramble to secure swift passage for his bill to create “one Canadian economy” before the House of Commons powers down for the summer.
Speaking with reporters shortly after the bill was tabled, Carney called it a “top priority for this government,” adding: “We will do everything to get it passed before the summer, and if Parliament needs to sit longer, it should sit longer in order to get it passed. That’s what Canadians expect.”
Also widely believed to be on Carney’s pre-summer priority list: An omnibus bid to fulfill several core campaign promises, including dropping the marginal tax rate on the lowest income bracket by one per cent, providing a “temporary GST new housing rebate for first-time home buyers” and permanently eliminating the consumer carbon price, which began working its way through second reading on Friday.

Mark ran on fear and the Conservative platform LOL. I see Donald today accelerated our defense rebuild.
Maybe our Premier could take a lesson from the PM.
