The crowd that gathers at both ceremonies warms our hearts. Very definitely more at Civic Square which hosts its service at the traditional time. It wasn’t always like this our first few attendances at Civic Square those showing their respect for every Veteran who served were much less in number. Our Legion in particular, Burloak Naval Club, Cadet organisations, Police, Teen Tour Band and a very supportive media has brought it to this very special Burlington day to remember. We are very grateful for the opportunity and health to participate along with many Burlington families rain or shine to show we will never, ever, forget.
