BURLINGTON, ON
In about 15 minutes you could be chomping on a rack of ribs in Spencer Smith Park.
The Burlington Rotary gets that event off the ground this weekend.
Friday, Aug. 30 — 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Saturday, Aug. 31 — 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 1 — 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Monday, Sept. 2 — 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
I know of nobody from Burlington who would attend this .
This event has always been free to get into now they’re charging $2 cover.
A rack of ribs is close to $30 then you want other fixings as well so there’s 50 bucks right there. If you have a family of four that’s $200
I’m sorry I know it’s for charity but that’s outrageous
I can go to any supermarket and get a pack of ribs for 15 bucks
I’ll be boycotting the event
I read there is a $2.00 entry fee to get into Spencer Smith Park.
Does anyone know if there is a family rate? Do children get in for free?
Does anyone know what the cost will be for the ribs – full rack, half-rack, beef ribs, chicken, and pulled pork?
Last year the cost was astronomical, can only imagine what it would cost a family of 4 this year.
