The Spaniards removed President Trump from their Official picture of their World Cup win.

Your first comment here is obviously mocking Trump …. and mocking Trump is fair game as commentary, even if readers disagree with it. Commentary is one thing; however implying something happened that didn’t is another. “Removed from the photo” and “published a photo that didn’t include him” are not the same thing. Accuracy should matter more than political snark.
The problem is that “removed” strongly suggests he was digitally erased from an existing photograph. Based on the reporting I’ve seen, “removed” is not established.
The understanding that’s accepted by factual accurate reporting is that It appears Spain (and FIFA) simply chose to publish photos that featured only the team, rather than a wider shot that included Trump.
Don’t drift down the path of so many struggling local publications, where the personal political views of the editorial staff become more important than objective reporting. Information providers don’t lose readers because people stop caring about local news. They lose readers when opinion masquerades as reporting. I hope you choose journalism over activism.
