BURLINGTON, ON

Is she or isn’t she?

Ward 4 Councillor Shawna Stolte is sponsoring a community event related community safety.

That tells us she is reasonably active as a ward Councillor (does missing Standing Committee meetings not count for anything), but has yet to declare if she will run for the Council seat in the October 26th election.

Will she?

Unfortunately, not everyone in Ward 4 received the invitation to this meeting. Perhaps only those she considers important. I first learned about it from CHCH, as the meeting was already underway. Later, someone rang my doorbell trying to sell me reinforced glass. This was coincidental, as there have been at least two break-ins in my neighbourhood recently, and he was canvassing the area to arrange free estimates.
