Plowing was terrible – snow started early in the day – plows were not out until 3 / 4 pm – tired contact the city but got a message that they will contact you back in 2 business days – so it snows on Saturday – we may or may not call you back by Tuesday – seems snow clearing and flooding get the same priority – best effort and as long as the rain or the snow occur from Monday to Friday from 8:45 to 4:30 pm between 1 hour for lunch and 2 15 minute breaks – good example of poor management for service based budgeting – would explain why people have given up on the engagement

Snow clearing in Burlington these past two years has been abysmal. Saturday saw snow fall all day, by 3pm many major streets had not seen any equipment mobilized including, but not limited to FAIRVIEW, APPLEBY, WALKERS, NEW, GUELPH LINE, NEW & LAKESHORE.
Just in case city council and city management don’t know, Saturday is generally The busiest day of the week for Retailers.
