Beachway Park North not ready for swimmers yet – Region reports on water quality.

BURLINGTON, ON  June 21, 2012  – The Halton Region Health Department monitors the water quality at public beaches throughout Halton.

Beachway North is not yet safe for swimming

Beach water monitoring on June 19 revealed the following beaches are safe for swimming:

• Milton – Kelso Conservation Area

• Oakville – Coronation Park East, Bronte Park Beach

• Halton Hills – Prospect Park Old Beach

• Burlington – Beachway Park South

The following beaches are unsafe for swimming:

Boundary markers for Beachway Park North and South

• Burlington – Beachway Park North

• Oakville – Coronation Park West

    Where exactly is the north vs the south part of Burlington beach?

    Good question. We asked the Region for the boundary markers and they provided a Google earth image which is now part of the story and will be used in all future pieces on the Beachway Park.
