Keeping up with what the political class has to say can be daunting at times.
Keeping the average person informed means tracking a lot of people.
Yesterday Halton Regional Chair Gary Carr tweeted; “We have registered 13,240 residents age 80 and older which is 26,480 appointments for both doses.”
He also tweeted this morning, “At one of our vaccination clinics. Our Halton team has registered 15,245 residents age 80 and older which represents 30,490 appointments for first and second doses.”
The schedule going forward looks like this:

And, are the ‘Few’ sites chosen for this Region, Affordable for taxi service!, wheel chair/ walker easy for the handicapped or do they need a caregiver? I think we need to consider more things before we celebrate.
Not sure what the relationship is between 13,240 and 15,245 – there appears to be in inconsistency!
The relationship is 2,005 more. The relationship between yesterday and this morning is about 12 hours. What are you getting at, antway?
finger trouble. ‘anyway’ not ‘antway’.
The next obvious question is – “do they have the vaccines to support these numbers”? if so, what vaccine are they administering?
The headline says the doses are in place. So what can go wrong? From what I have read, the over 80 people will be getting the Pf and M, brand vaccines. These are the ones I greatly favour, that use the new mRNA technology and should provide some decent protection against the variants.
