BURLINGTON, ON
It was just after 7:00 pm yesterday when a police officer spotted a car moving a little too quickly in the of Billings Court and South Service Road in Burlington.
A traffic stop was conducted and grounds were formed for a lawful search of the vehicle. Search of the vehicle led to the discovery and seizure of approximately 300 grams of fentanyl, valued at over $100,000, as well as $15,000 in cash.
That is a very significant drug inventory.
Parteek Ghuman (19) of Stoney Creek has been charged with:
-Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
-Obstruct Peace Officer
Ghuman has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
This is an example of excellent police work.
