Would like to know what percentage of money is participant pays is given to cancer care at Joseph Brant hospital.

      Good question.

I’d like to see the benefit/cost analysis that compares what it costs to put on this event (e.g. salaries of police officers, first responders, officials, etc.) versus the amount of business that is actually brought into downtown Burlington vendors and businesses. I’d also like to know why we can’t run this event in Aldershot in a circuit bounded by North Shore Boulevard, Plains Road, LaSalle Park Boulevard and King Road. I bet that’s about a five kilometre circumference. LaSalle Park could serve as the start and terminus point, there’s plenty of free parking, and there’s plenty of space for vendors. The impact would be confined and the disruption would be minimized.
